Avery Humane Society
Our mission is to help our community respond humanely to the needs of animals. Since 2006 they have partnered with Mountain View Correctional Institute in Spruce Pine on a program called "A New Leash on Life." This program allows eight inmates to train four of dogs in basic obedience.

Doodle Rock Rescue
Doodle Rock Rescue was founded in March 2017 with the mission to rescue, rehabilitate, and re-home abused, neglected, and abandoned doodles in need. We see more and more of these adorable pups in shelters, roaming the streets, or surrendered by their families — some in extremely desperate situations.

Established in 2023, Creating Hope For Paws is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue proudly serving Athens, Alabama and the surrounding Limestone County community. Our mission is to provide safety for rescued animals, with the hope that they will be adopted into loving homes.
